Add a little cream cheese for a old world taste

My Amish friends, who of course are German, make the most wonderful mash potatoes. When helping them with a wedding dinner, I noticed the "trick". They add butter to the water they cook the potatoes in and if needed, use the butter water to thin the mash potatoes. But they real "trick" - they add about 1/4 - 1/2 cube of Philadelphia Cream Cheese. Umm good! Give it a try -- you'll love it.
