This is a great recipe. I am both German and Austrian Desent. Mother born in West Germany, and Father Austria. The cucumber salad recipe passed down from my Oma and mom was white vinegar, oil, about 2 tbsp. or so sour cream, green onions, chopped, and salt and pepper to taste. Very good. Also topped with paprika for color. Thank you for this great site.

I once had a cucumber salad in a German restaurant that I loved, but the salad also had a spoon of great northern beans and a spoon of french style green beans along with the cucumber salad& I can't seem to find the ingredients that go in the beans, can you help? ?
