D'oh, I over cooked it

I was thrilled to finally make this dish. The process for the dough was very helpful. I especially enjoyed the sweetness of the dough. I had a can of poppy seed filling that needed to be utilized, it worked well for this dish. I ended up soaking the raisins in the rum for a few hours, then added the rum as instructed. I am not sure if it was just that I left it in the oven too long, or if the dough was tougher than I had anticipated. Very delicious, thank you for sharing this recipe. I might look for a more delicate dough for the next time I make something like this.
