This is exactly what we were looking for. A healthy and yet hearty soup that wasn't full of cream, just flavorful ingredients. I love the way that the broth is seasoned not just with a mirepoix (carrots, celery and onion), but also garlic and bay leaf. (I used extra bay leaf, since that is what my family likes) The chicken bouillon also helps fortify the tasty broth.
