No broth ... skins on

This is very similar to the German potato salad my grandfather taught me to make many, many years ago, but there was never any broth. Also, he always scrubbed the red potatoes thoroughly and left the skins on. The rest is the same. Oh, and he always cut up at least one green onion to mix in. Then the salad went into the fridge overnight before we were allowed to eat it.
